"The Green Logistics and Supply Chain Alliance " was officially established on June 15th at Feng Chia University. The alliance consists of 17 professional units, including Oriental Logistics.

As one of the alliance members, Oriental Logistics signed a partnership agreement on June 15th at Feng Chia University. Through resource integration, sharing, and collaborative cooperation, alliance members will provide mutual experience and technical support to explore and formulate "Green Logistics Environmental Solutions and Pathways." On that day, Oriental Logistics, together with the alliance members, held the inaugural "2023 Green Logistics and Supply Chain Forum" to share the challenges faced by the logistics and supply chain industry with representatives from academia, transportation and logistics, and the business sector.

On the occasion of the alliance's establishment, Mr. Lin Li, the representative of Oriental Logistics, and Director Lin Yingjie from the Carbon Asset and Certification Center at Feng Chia University, were invited to attend the Bonn Climate Change Conference – June 2023 in Germany. It was the first time Oriental Logistics was invited to participate in the main event of the United Nations Climate Change Conference, representing Oriental Logistics to deliver a speech from the perspective of professional knowledge in academia and the industry.

After the signing ceremony, the forum kicked off enthusiastically. Associate Professor Lin Jichang from the Department of Transportation and Logistics gave a keynote speech on "Exploring the Path to Zero-Emission Logistics: Developing the Framework and Challenges of Sustainable Supply Chains." Mr. Zhang, Sales Manager of Oriental Logistics, spoke on "The Role of the Logistics Industry in the Context of Carbon Issues," sharing possible approaches to assisting small and medium-sized enterprises in establishing green supply chains. Lastly, Mr. Masakazu Sakurai, Director of DNP Fine Chemicals Co., Ltd., spoke on "Challenges and Responses Faced by Companies in Carbon Accounting and Carbon Footprint," sharing insights from an international enterprise perspective on how to overcome the difficulties and challenges faced by supply chain systems in the face of increasingly stringent net-zero requirements.

The Green Logistics and Supply Chain Alliance consists of 17 members, including various transportation and logistics companies, export-oriented enterprises, international testing and verification service providers, emission reduction and ESG guidance system companies, banks, and law firms. In the future, Oriental Logistics will collaborate with academia and the industry to disseminate knowledge related to sustainable net-zero carbon supply chains and collectively move towards a sustainable green supply chain.
